San Bernardino County Cities

Encompassing over 20,000 square miles, San Bernardino County is the largest county in the US. It covers a wide range of terrain, from the highest point in Southern California (Mt San Gorgonio – 11,499′) to the wide expanse of the Mojave Desert. As a result of its size and location, the county is also very important for transportation. The majority of the railroads and major Interstate freeways pass through this county on their way to the Los Angeles region. Most of the population is located south of the mountain ranges of the San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains in the San Bernardino and Cucamonga Valleys.
