I-805: Jacob Dekema Freeway

aaroads_i-3di-805Jacob Dekema Freeway / Inland Freeway
Runs from I-5 in Sorrento Valley to I-5 in San Ysidro

This is the busiest freeway in San Diego. During peak traffic, its gets backed up for miles. This freeway was completed in the mid 1970’s and has seen little change since then. HOV lanes are slowly being added to the route, though not without its own headaches. The path the freeway takes through San Diego closely follows the former line between the San Diego Mission Lands and the San Diego Pueblo Lands along Boundary Street.
