SR-72: Whittier Blvd

Whittier Blvd
Runs from Atlantic Blvd in Montebello to State 39 (Beach Blvd) near La Habra

State 72 is the original alignment of US 101 through Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Originally, it ran to Harbor Blvd, heading south along Harbor to Anaheim Blvd (formerly Los Angeles Road) to I-5 in Anaheim. It was shortened in the 1970’s.
