Atascadero

At Atascadero, US 466 met US 101. Prior to 1959, it just crossed here and continued northeast. After 1959, US 466 joined US 101 to Paso Robles, continuing east along present-day State 46. The town itself was founded in 1913. Until 2000, State 41 (and previous US 466), followed West Mall, Capistrano Ave, and Sycamore Rd through town.
