Remnants of the San Diego Electric Railway in San Diego

San Diego used to have a rather extensive streetcar system in the central area of the city. It was known as San Diego Electric Railway, which last ran on April 23, 1949. It was the first to switch to all-bus in the Southwest. Since it has been so long since abandonment, most of the traces of the lines are gone. Some are as simple as lines in pavement, where others are actual structures. These remnants will be shown here.
