SDERy – Downtown San Diego

In the downtown area, not much remains of the San Diego Electric Railway. What does remain is usually small and sometimes tough to spot. Many of the older buildings along Broadway have small eye bolts on the side of the building, just above the first floor level. These used to hold the support wires for the streetcars. In other places, tracks that were just paved over instead of removed are showing up again.
