SDERy – Mission Beach to La Jolla

This rail line was originally constructed in the 1910’s and was abandoned in 1924. By 1928, it was rebuilt by the San Diego Electric Railway as their La Jolla line. The line lasted another few years before being finally abandoned in the late 1930’s. Quite a bit of the right of way still exists, part of which is now a bicycle path.
