398px-COASTER_logo.svgThe Coaster, officially Coast Express Rail, began operations in 1995. Service is now seven days a week with special trains to San Diego Padres baseball games. It runs from Oceanside to San Diego, with more frequent service during peak commute times. It shares tracks with Amtrak along its entire length. Bicycle racks are available in each car and are well used.
