The first segment of the new incarnation of State Route 11 is open. It runs from State 905 to Siempre Viva Rd. The plans call for a tolled freeway running east to a new truck border crossing east of the current Otay Mesa (State 905) crossing. Where it will be tolled and how much is not known at this time.
